About us
The Church of the Immaculate Conception in Copperton, Utah, has a rich history rooted in the early settlement of the area and the growth of the Catholic community, with its roots going back to the 1890's and the establishment of the parish in 1910. The Church of the Immaculate Conception was established as a parish in 1910, with the first mass celebrated in a home. A church was built in Bingham Canyon in 1930, followed by another in Copperton, in 1949, when the town of Bingham Canyon was buried with the expansion of the mine. The present church was built in the neighboring town of Copperton in 1949. The parish continues to serve the Catholic community in and around the area, providing worship, religious education, and outreach.

Our History
With humble beginnings that continue to today, our warm and friendly parish family is a place many call "home".
While many of our parishioners have attended mass here, first in Bingham, and now Copperton, together with their parents, grandparents, and great grandparents, anyone who walks through our doors are welcomed.
We offer two masses each week, in addition to Holy Days. Families have the opportunity to bring their children to religious classes and participate in youth masses and various social justice projects. The younger children are making wonderful memories in our parish hall's play area during coffee and donuts.
