Typically, OCIA involves:

• Learning Catholic beliefs and Scripture

• Attending Mass and becoming familiar with Catholic worship

• Prayer and spiritual formation

• Meeting with priests and/or parish team members

• Preparation for Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, depending on the person's circumstances
